It is my hope that these four pdf files below might help you in your walk with God. Not only should we become familiar with the Biblical teachings that we have lost as a church; But we must find deeper ways to talk with God when we approach Him through the throne of Grace. Jesus is in the Most Holy place of the Heavenly Sanctuary and we must become more intelligent in Spiritual things as we plead with Him. We must not be destroyed because of our lack of knowledge.

• Preparation For The Latter Rain - Do we reflect the lovely image of Jesus as we should?
  There is a great work to do for us and but little time in which to do it. We will have to die a greater death to the world than we have ever yet died.
• Bible Promises - For comfort and for us to use as we pray asking God for help. We can also use these verses as we plead with God through Our High Priest. Those who love the most are those who have been forgiven the most.
• Why I know the Trinity Teaching is False - What truth have we lost within the SDA church and how might that lack of knowledge affect our Salvation?
• Will America Survive? - Most Adventists have this book: The Great Controversy. Because this book teaches what has already happened in the past, we will be more able to correctly interpret what is happening today. But in addition, this book will also show us what will happen in the last days that are just ahead of us. It goes beyond what we might be able to guess ourselves.

The time of the end is near, even at the door. I have never before seen the world as it is today, its condition is so much more unstable and unsettling.

6. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:6-8

In Matthew 24 we see that in the beginning of the end, the beginning of sorrows, we will hear of wars and rumors of wars. I believe that this is just beginning now. But even as this time continues, we should realize that this whole state of activity is just the beginning of trouble and if you go back and read more of the text, you will see that other things will also happen at the same time.

So, we should also be able to see that our liberties and freedoms are about to be taken away from us. We as Adventists have been told of a time when it will be too late to come to God. We have also been told when that time will be. God's people will face their probation before the world! We have Scripture for this. Judgement will start with the House of God.

6. Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men [elders] which were before the house. Ezekiel 9:6

In Matthew 25:1-13 we read that the Five Virgins were wise and they had oil beforehand. But five of the virgins were foolish and they had not prepared by obtaining the necessary oil.

Starting with verse 6 you will see that when the bridegroom came, the five virgins suddenly realized that they needed oil. In addition they never were able to get that oil and also they were never able to go with the bridegroom because the door was shut!

6. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Matthew 25:6-10

So, if they did not have oil when the bridegroom came, they were lost! Here is another parable that Jesus gave in Matthew 22:2-14.

The king's son was getting married. So, in several ways the king invited many guests to the marriage. But they made light of his invitation and would not come. Then the king got angry and destroyed them. It was then that the king invited people off the streets:

Now, this is really interesting and serious! The king actually destroyed the original people before he started to invite the people off the streets. So God will destroy His people who failed to follow Him, before God goes to the world in the Loud Cry.

7. But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Matthew 22:7

This reminds me of Ezekiel 8.

8. Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9. Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. Matthew 22:8-9

So, while the door was closed to the original group, God's own people, the door was opened to the rest of the world. Now, there is an additional incident, a man was present who did not have on the required wedding garment:

11. And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12. And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14. For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22:11-14

We need to make sure we have the oil or the wedding garment before the emergency comes, because if we wait for the emergency to do anything, it will be too late. When the final trouble strikes it will be too late to prepare. Here are a few statements from the Spirit of Prophecy:

Oh, that the people might know the time of their visitation! There are many who have not yet heard the testing truth for this time. There are many with whom the Spirit of God is striving. The time of God's destructive judgments is the time of mercy for those who have had no opportunity to learn what is truth. Tenderly will the Lord look upon them. His heart of mercy is touched; His hand is still stretched out to save, while the door is closed to those who would not enter. {9T 97.2}

I was shown that if God's people make no efforts on their part, but wait for the refreshing to come upon them and remove their wrongs and correct their errors; if they depend upon that to cleanse them from filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and fit them to engage in the loud cry of the third angel, they will be found wanting. The refreshing or power of God comes only on those who have prepared themselves for it by doing the work which God bids them, namely, cleansing themselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. {1T 619.1}

We may be sure that when the Holy Spirit is poured out, those who did not receive and appreciate the early rain will not see or understand the value of the latter rain.--TM 399 (1896). {Last Day Events - LDE 195.3}

Those who make no decided effort, but simply wait for the Holy Spirit to compel them to action, will perish in darkness. You are not to sit still and do nothing in the work of God.--ChS 228 (1903). {Last Day Events - LDE 196.1}

I believe we must seek God while He may be found, before it is too late.

6. Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:6

Soon, he may not be found and he may not be near because probation will close.

Satan has specifically attacked the doctrines of our church and as we approach the end we better know what the truth really is. Our eternal life could depend upon our knowledge.

6. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Hosea 4:6
